5 Reasons Why Most People Don't Become Successful
This is the first quarter of the year, 2013. How successful has your new year’s resolution been?
I know some of your new year’s resolution in 2013 will be saving money and building wealth. But before you answer my question, don’t you think it is possible to have unknowingly held yourself back from achieving some of your goals at this time of the year?
That is the reason I have decided to share with you some of the mistakes you might have been making from the beginning of this year.
Let start with the top of the list;
1.) Bad company/friendship: So many people set goals, targets, and even make a list of their new year’s resolution without considering the kind of people they associate with. Some grew up in a family where all manners of unruly attitude are practiced. Some works with unreliable and untrustworthy people. Some do not have roles models that are worthy or even successful.
If you are found within this nest, then achieving your goals or resolution can be a serious problem.
2.) In-decision: so many people set goals but never decide within them on how to achieve their goals. No matter how well written your goals and targets are, if you do not decide within you that you must achieve these goals, then it will never come to success.
The primary causes of under-achievement or failure is that so many people don’t decide that they really want to be successful. Even if someone associate with people that are successful or financially successful, and does not make a decision that he/she must be successful, he will never achieve success.
3.) Procrastination: So many people always look for good reasons or excuses why they never become financially successful. They raise complains and excuses why they never take action(s) that will lead them to financial success. Some will always have a reason to put their actions out of work. They keep postponing days by days, weeks by weeks, months by months, and so on until it becomes too late for them to take any action. Even if a person walks or associate with the right set of people, and make the right decision take to change, procrastination will set in and push their future to an indefinite strike.
4.) Delayed Gratification: The fourth reason why so many people cannot achieve success is simply because they do not have the ability to delay gratification. They always want to spend every penny they make or borrow or even by on credit. If you cannot delay gratification and disappoint yourself by refraining from spending every penny you make, you will never become successful.
5.) Lack of Time Prospecting: This is simply the amount of time you take into consideration when planning your day-to-day activities and when making important decision to your life. People with long time prospective tend to move up the financial ladder than those with short time prospective.
I hope this short article will help redesign your financial life and help you succeed in every areas of your life.
